Wireless Services

All full time faculty and staff are able to connect to the Campus wireless network using their Novell Network account. Currently there are open hotspots located throughout the campus: e.g. Namm Cafeteria, Voorhees Cafeteria, Namm Atrium and Quadrangle.

The campus wireless network is unsecured an unsecured connection. Full time faculty and staff can connect to the wireless network utilizing their existing Novell Network Account. Adjunct faculty who has an existing Novell Network account must contact the CIS department to allow them access to the wireless network.

Users can connect to the wireless network using a wireless capable device such as a laptop or PDA. The device must support 802.11b,g for connectivity. Currently the campus wireless network provides IP connection to the Internet.

Currently the following general open areas are wireless hotspots:

  • Atrium Ground floor to 6th floor
  • Library
  • General 5th floor annex area
  • Namm cafeteria
  • Voorhees cafeteria

Look for the Wi-Fi signs.
