Information technology services at New York City College of Technology generally provided through three areas on campus:Computing Information Services (CIS) , Instructional Technology and Media Services . Each area maintains different and individual responsibilities, but work collaboratively to provide the campus with a wide range of IT services.

Computing Information Services (CIS) is the administrative IT division that provides a diverse range of computer, networking and information support for New York City College of Technology. Its principal responsibilities include the implementation and maintenance of the college’s network infrastructure, information security, technical support/helpdesk and providing data retrieval and analysis for administrative department use.

CIS as a whole consists of five (5) departments that provide specific services to the various campus units: Reporting & Development, Server Administration & Support, Infrastructure & Security, Technical Support/Helpdesk, Telecommunications
